Medical Materials is a division of EPreward, and was founded with the goal of saving hospitals money by 'Linking Hidden Value in the Supply Chain.' From redistributing new and unused medical products to recycling valuable single use devices and creating alternative mechanisms for waste management, Medical Materials works to provide the maximum benefit to your hospital. We only receive compensation if we save or make your hospital money. We are never paid unless we produce results, therefore we really do earn your business.
Assisting with the development of new equipment and devices is one of the goals of MMI. Certain research, R&D, educational and demonstration needs can often be more economically met through expired and used devices. Though limited in application by the FDA, many projects and ongoing programs can benefit from these difficult to obtain devices. Contact us to receive an inventory of these products to see how they can save you money and provide you with devices you may have not considered before.

Steve recently received the 2013 SBA Small Business Person of the Year for the State of Florida as well as the South Florida District. Steve was also awarded the South Florida S.C.O.R.E.'s Entrepreneur of the Year Award for 2010. With 31 years' experience in the health care field, he has an intimate understanding of the need for better efficiency in managing medical supplies and equipment, and reducing wasteful hospital practices. His problem-solving attitude led him to pioneer the concept of turning idle inventory into an asset and exploring the many alternatives to medical waste mis-management. As the President of EPreward, Inc., a company that serves Electrophysiology departments, he observed the significant waste of new and unused medical devices in EP labs and the associated cost of purchasing and maintaining this equipment. His method of networking new and unopened, or “idle” inventory in one hospital to the needs of another have financially benefited many EP Labs in the U.S. Medical Materials applies the EPreward model of turning “idle” inventory throughout the entire hospital into positive revenue streams, while at the same time helping hospitals purchase needed products at significant savings compared to vendor prices.
